Farewell to Chris Cole, Editor, The Citizen News

To say that Chris Cole, the soon-to-be departing editor/publisher of The Citizen News, will be missed is a huge understatement...especially by All God's Creatures.

From day one, Chris (an animal owner and lover) listened, learned and offered to help the "mission" of All Godss Creatures. He provided excellent and more importantly, compassionate coverage at each of our organization’s events throughout his tenure. The "Pet of The Week" photo and description and more recently, the Pet Party Line column have enabled All God's Creatures to become more effective in finding good loving homes for our pets and by helping educate the public about pet ownership and care.

Whenever we assembled a raffle basket, The Citizen News would donate an item or free subscription for the cause. They generously shared their tent at the Peach Festival with Ben Rushton who donated his earnings from the neck massages to AGC. Chris also has generously given of his free time by providing pet therapy at our local Trinity Health Care Center. His dog, Nora, was so gentle and loved performing tricks for the delighted patients.

Chris, we truly wish you well. Best of luck in Texas and please know that you truly made a difference. Thanks.
